Janet Marie Napper, Founder and CEO of Global Institute
of Hope, advocates for childhood abuse victims.
Janet has a lifetime of experience with childhood abuse, gender-based violence/verbal/emotional abuse, and generational abuse.
​
Janet is an international facilitator of D2L (Darkness to Light) Stewards of Children Sexual Abuse Prevention,
was certified as a Chaplain, and is an International Facilitator of WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan), an evidence-based program through the state of Tennessee Mental Health Department.
​
Janet's passion is to help men and women overcome the effects of abuse in God's way. This led her to be a member of City Gate Network more than six years ago, an organization that umbrellas Rescue Missions throughout the country. 90% of women and 70% of homeless people have experienced various forms of abuse.
Kenneth Napper is a father, husband, and passionate
prayer warrior who learned to overcome childhood abuse
in God's way.

Kenneth studied at Northwest University in Mississippi and is the Director of Men's Ministry, teaching Overcoming Abuse God's Way.
As a lay minister, Kenneth teaches the Word of God in churches, men's Bible studies, and rescue missions by invitation. Additionally, Kenneth does Sunday services at Mark H. Luttrell Correctional Center in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Laura Shultz is a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about integrating her faith with her clinical practice and inspiring other psychologists to do the same.
For this project, Dr. Shultz enjoyed collaborating with a group of brilliant future psychologists at Wheaton College to help them see the beauty of partnering with ministries like OAGW to advance Christ’s goal of redeeming
the world to Himself.

Dr. Shultz’s clinical specialty areas include health psychology, neuropsychology, the integration of religious faith and psychology, and trauma.
She earned her Master’s in Counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary and then completed her Doctorate in Psychology at Wheaton College. She completed her clinical internship with a specialty in neuropsychology at the North Texas VA Healthcare System and then completed a specialty postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Memphis VA Medical Center.
When she is not geeking out over psychology, Dr. Shultz delights in being a wife to her husband, a partner in his ministry, and a mother to her three young boys.
Dr. Don Jones holds advanced degrees in theology, business, and educational administration.He is the co-author of two textbooks and several peer-reviewed articles.

Don was born in West Monroe, Louisiana (USA), and was immediately adopted by a loving Christian family in Memphis, Tennessee. He first heard the Gospel from his parents and grandparents, including his Pentecostal great-grandmother, who prayed over him just weeks before her death. He was named after two Evangelical ministers and knew from an early age that he would be involved in ministry.
He was first ordained in 1984 and served as a music minister, pastor, military chaplain, archdeacon, and most recently, Suffragan Bishop in The Evangelical Episcopal Communion.

Don is currently the Dean of Northwest Mississippi Community College in Oxford, Mississippi.
Dr. Georgia Pointer is an author, conference speaker, victims advocate, and graduate of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and Cornerstone University.

Paul M. Berkes, LPC/MHSP, is a minister, worship leader, speaker, and licensed professional counselor who has a passion for bringing healing and restoration to abused people, especially autistic emerging adults, through the ministry of "A Hope and A Future" as well as from his Christian professional counseling practice.
